Finding yourself #8
Healthy and happy looks good on you!
Image SourceIn one of my last blogs I touched basis on trauma issues. Today I would like to talk about ways that can help heal from truma and mental illnesses. Its not always easy for people to understand their feelings and trauma they might have, but once you dig deep into your thoughts and issues your experiencing you will start to see the change inside of you which might be easier to get the help you need.
Once I have overcome my thoughts and realized that I might need a little more help than I'm receiving now, I have been able to accomplish and see my goals changing in life.
I wake up everyday not wanting to be sad and miserable, theres so much life to live and I don't want to miss out anymore than I have. After going through a hard separation of 11 years, I was able to get into therapy and seek the help needed to be able to move forward in life. I was able to learn that i was in a abusive cycle with my partner. Since opening my ears, mind and eyes I wake up each day looking forward to my day and knowing that I'm able to accomplish anything that comes to me.
I have started to find myself and enjoy doing things that I want to do; painting, reading, drawing, singing, dancing, skin care. Things I lost sight in when I had mental illness holding me back. Every person is diffrent and it might not be as hard or easy to over come situations as it would someone else, try to remebem,er that. Because how you heal may not be the same as someone else. I once heard a quote that stuck with me "The magic you are looking for, is in the work you are avoiding!"
Now I'm able to start building different relationship rather thats with healthy family, past friends, or new friends. Im now able to maintain a healthy relationship with them as well, because I'm not always in my head or feeling like such a burden. It's okay to pick yourself before anyone else, it's a beautiful feeling to be able to love yourself. It's a beautiful feeling to be able to start to feel the relief and hope, you start t o see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Time Management is key
This week we will be talking about food and being able to find some great resources, tips and tricks. I’ll be sharing some ways I can make sure to keep mindfulness in what I eat to maintain and healthy lifestyle.
As we all know time gets away from us so sometimes it’s easier to be able to just stop at a fast food restaurant, or convenient stores to grab a meal, snacks, drinks, or anything else we may need.
As I know everyone is different and may not be able to take my advice, rather that’s timing issues, financial issues, or even different dietary issue, this is just what I do for my week.
I like to pick 2-3 meals to switch up for lunch and dinners for the week. I start by picking 2 main meats, my go to is chicken and sausage or brats, you pick a veggie you enjoy, and then a carb I go with rice a lot of time (that’s just my preference). Throughout the week you can add different sauces, or toppings you enjoy through the week. I will then pick out 2-3 fruits and veggie to have as a snack, I will allow myself to enjoy a soda or sugar free soda with lunch or dinner. This will help me from grabbing unneeded foods or snacks when I lose time of track and things start to become inconvenient because that’s usually when people find themselves falling out of line.
However I recently have found a website called Factor, Factor is a website that helps you meal prep for your entire family or just an individual person. You will go to this site and answer questions, they will ask you things about your goals you want to achieve and your body type. Then it goes into your dieter issues, or allergies you may have. Once that’s done they will have you discuss things that you may enjoy more than others or even things you don’t enjoy. They will make meals to your liking and be able to ship to your home, this is a good option for people that don’t want or cant meal prep, this is also a great way to stay focused on eating better without the inconvenience part.
There are other places like Hello Fresh , Flexpro , there are also places around the valley that you can walk into and build your own meals for the week. Those are for the people that don't have time to take the day for meal prepping.
If you have the time to meal prep there's many way's to find amazing ideas for your weekly meals a lot of free websites like Budget Bites , Atkins , and so much more if you google. However there are also a few places that you can buy weekly/ monthly memberships from that send you meal prep ideas with a grocery list. For that option you'll have to find your favorite place, since I have personally never used that.

Fresh Video
The fresh video is wanting people around the world to see just how how much has changed in the farms, crops, and food sold in the stores. The farmers now have to use potent chemicals thats not good for the economy, people, for food. However this has to be done, because if you try to do it the natural way you wont be able too grow fast enough and the huge farms that was forces into factories will out grow and sell your product. Before they relied on natural traditional methods and manual labor, now with he advance technology thats how they are able to produce and provide a lot more, They use things such like; Drones, machinery, data analytics to optimize their operations.
With the animals they have to put antibiotics in them to help promote growth and prevention of infection. They also have changed their food that provides them with everything they need because better feed means bigger animals. They started too feed dead chicken and cows to their cows, when this happens theres a diseases that happened thats called “mad cow diseases” but thats not all when animals start eating their own kind or even other there many issue that come into play as in; E.coli, salmonella, A&B flu many more. They try to cover up the bad taste with sweetener and molasses in it, they do this because it's considered cheap feed.
Processed food are so bad and dangerous for you and your health, but its very advertised rather with healthy foods. Processed foods are extremely high in corn syrup, soybean oil, and many more bad ingredients. But because its convenient for people they much rather that, but they don’t see the bad behind it. This is causing many health conditions, and obesity around the USA and no ones doing anything to stop it, or care what they are eating. Not to mention that if they wanted to eat better foods, they many not have access to it, or because its natural It could be a lot more expensive.
Before this video I had a big problem with certain meat I eat, iv been thinking about going vegetarian for a long time, I don’t eat read meat as is. After watching this Fresh video it makes me want to stop eating all meat completely. There is a problem in the different prices from healthy foods to processed food, its sad because there might be no other option to feed a family, some might afford a box of Mac and cheese an hot dogs then a fresh salad. To hear from the video and from a co worker of mine that fresh meat taste and look a lot different then the kind sold in stores scares me because you know they have to add color and steroids to display it in the store.

Trauma is a scary thing
As a person everyone feels, everyone is always having emotions: sad, happy, angry, anxious, or even depressed. However no one is born with these mental illnesses or feelings they always come from something or someone that causes this. Today I want to touch bases on trauma that causes people to have feelings. Over the last 27 years of my life I have experienced all kinds of different emotions, as a child I have carried that throughout my life with me. You never realize that something might affect you or move through your life, until you start to see patterns that maybe someone else doesn't.
There's many factors that can cause traumas that could deeply impact a person's life, events like accidents, abuse, natural disasters, or loss of a loved one. When one experiences trauma it can lead to physical, emotional or psychological ways, often will have you feeling fear,anxiety, and even distress. There are many different ways you can receive help but first you're going to have to acknowledge that there might be something that is bothering you. Coping with this trauma isnt easy but you can seek out support from loved-ones, professionally, and take the time for self-care and healing.
Healing from trauma isn't easy, but you're not alone. There are millions of people every day that have to deal with different traumas, and getting professional help doesn't make you weak or less of a person, with that being said EVERYONE’S healing process is different. This is a long journey ahead of you, some people like to believe after seeking professional help all their issues go away.. From experience it takes a lot of self recognition, patience, and dedication.
Patience is the key within therapy because you have to give yourself time and compassion for oneself. It's important to create a safe place to be able to feel your emotions, memories and triggers that are associated with traumatic events.
Don't allow the trauma to take your life and control it any longer. There are many resources out there that can help you. When you take the steps to start healing you will see a dramatic impact. There are ways to start taking steps into recovery, to gain your sense of safety, trust and resilience. Always remember healing is a personal and unique path!

Mayhem #5
The Bear Attack!!!
Today we are going to talk about the Mayhem Bear ad these ads are so funny. It starts out with the guy talking about how it’s a bear season, walking out for the green trees and bushes with a small fish in his hand. He’s walking up to an unattended car, as you watch the small family walking away with a conversation and laughter knowing they are going out on adventure.
Today is gloomy and rainy because the car windows and bushes have water drops on them, one of the small children is wearing a bright yellow raincoat, which makes everything around the car and “bear” gloomy and dark.
The bear is starting to demolish the car to get the food inside because the family left the window down, causing attention to the smell of food. He starts to break off the door, windows shattering, ripping into the food cooler with rapid breaths and talking more deeply as a bear would sound, getting excited about certain foods like “Cheddar”. Once he raided the car and the food causing damage on the outside and inside. As he walks past the side mirror he smacks it off looking so effortless as a bear would.
As all these terrible things happen, when this family comes back from the adventure, they will be upset because not only did their food get torn into and, left with nothing their transportation is also ruined and broken. This could cause anyone’s trip to be ruined. Mayhem wants you to know that they know that the most unexpected things happen in life, and that’s why you should get Mayhem insurance.
They are trying to reassure people that it is not always simple things like car accidents, that accidents can happen anywhere and anytime and they want you to understand that you are covered with their insurance. Life Changing Experiences #4
Making Memories
When something major happens in life we always look at the negativity thats happening, however I try to see the most beautiful things in life. On August 8th 2021 my best-friend had taken her last breath, and although it tore many peoples lives apart day by day. I was able to step out of my comfort zone and take a plane and adventure to a new city and state Billings Montana.
During the fall season in October theres was a funeral arranged that took place in Montana, I bought a plane ticket and booked a hotel and went on a adventure ill never be able to forget, during this fall season it was so beautiful, nothing like iv ever seen in Arizona, looked like it came straight from a movie scene. Theres were beautiful colors every where, ginormous oak trees with the longest branches hanging off, and the most detailed roots buried under the ground ands peaking out through the dark brown dirty. The weather was different it had the cool breeze to it, it was like a fresh breath it wasn’t thick and cloudy like clean air you were breathing in.
- Go, go out with your loved ones, and never take them for granted. Be excited about the things they love. Don’t allow your fear hold you back.
- Always find the positive in a negative situation.
I now love to travel to new places since taking this spontaneous trip for her, she has opened me open from my box, and even though she’s not here with us today I know she’s by my each and everyday pushing me and now I live for her. In whatever you do in life always fine the positive in things even its small.
